Castle Dragonscar is large fortified building in Ommadawn that houses an ornate theater and museum to the arts. The entrance is a set of large wooden doors carved with the history of great bards, musicians, poets, storytellers, painters, and more. They are known widely as "The Doors to Distant Worlds". Castle Dragonscar is a restricted building requiring exclusive (and expensive) memberships.
Castle Dragonscar hosts an annual event for bards and musicians called The Dragonscar Jubilee. At this festival, contestants vie for the audiences approval which is then judged by a secret panel. Winners of the festival are rewarded with a coveted token known as the "Dragonscar Token" or "Dragonscar Coin". This token is said to open doors around the world as proof of their skill and vastly increases the payments for their services.
