Kausheln is a legendary Yuan-ti general. He is known for leading the Yuan-ti tribes during the war with Sarmasia. He was a devout worshiper of Merrshaulk. Some claim that the source of the Sarmasian drylands is connected to Kausheln after he was given the gift of god-like powers from Merrshaulk in a last ditch effort to save the Yuan-ti resistance.
