I was born on the street of Bar'den in a cold dirty alley. My mother could not afford to take care of me, she gave me to a church. I have never known my father. Mother visited me on occations to see how I was doing when she came by for alms throughout my childhood. I was brought up amongst the clergy of Selune and taught the religion, goddess of the Moon. This is a better upbringing than most could ask for, as Selunites are well known for being caring to women. I took well to the teachings under the head matron and showed promise. I was soon apprenticed to a priestess for sacred rites, duties and healing. I excelled at diagnosing and healing others and worked in the infirmary for 3 years. When I was 16, a Dusk Knight, named Gal'fear of the Order of Selunes Tears trained me in martial pursuits. I excelled at both healing and offensive divine magic through my devotion. I was handpicked to travel and purge Shar's spreading evil darkness and help those in need. In my absence, my mother fell ill. She died 3 months ago. I haven't felt the full weight of her loss. On my last mission, I was hunting rumors a suspicious cult related to Shar, instead I ran into a devil I have never read about. We struggled, but I was no match for it. I came to the next day bloody but alive but with a strange headache. My eyes have have since started to glow in pure darkness and I can see through it as if it is a clear sunny day.
